Ventia was awarded the contract to deliver preventative, corrective, and reactive maintenance, along with electrical, mechanical, and instrumentation services across the Seqwater network of 35 water treatment plants, 95 pump stations, and 26 referable dams.
Fully mobilised in February 2025, our 125 strong team continue to deliver service excellence across the entire Seqwater network. The network expands as far as Gympie in the north, to the NSW border in the south, and from North Stradbroke Island in the east, to the base of the Toowoomba Ranges in the west.

About the Role
As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a portfolio of multi‑disciplined mechanical, electrical, civil and control‑systems projects across Seqwater’s existing water infrastructure.
These are end‑to‑end projects, where you will oversee the full lifecycle from design, through construction and into commissioning. You will lead cross‑functional teams, maintain strong client relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead multi‑disciplinary project teams across mechanical, electrical, civil and control systems
- Deliver projects end‑to‑end, from design coordination through construction and commissioning
- Build and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships
- Prepare pricing submissions, quotes and estimates aligned to contractual KPIs
- Manage forecasting and develop schedules in PMO365
- Coordinate construction activities to meet program timeframes
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, HSE and operations teams
- Travel to multiple project locations across South East Queensland (Stapylton, Richlands, West End and Baringa offices)
About You
You’re a hands‑on Project Manager who thrives in fast‑paced environments and enjoys leading multi‑disciplined technical projects from concept through to commissioning.
You will also bring:
- Demonstrated success in delivering complex infrastructure or industrial projects
- Strong commercial, contractual and stakeholder‑management capabilities
- Ability to coordinate multiple engineering disciplines and site activities
- Willingness to travel to regional locations
- Electrical or mechanical background (preferred but not essential)
- Water industry experience (advantageous but not essential)
